| Victory Pushes Shamrocks Record to 32-22 | The Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Bristol Robins, 9-2, at Ashton Gate. The Shamrocks got a fine performance from catcher Jesús Morales, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 32-22 with this latest triumph.
Troy McKimm aided the Pacifica cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the second. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 3 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," McKimm told a Pacifica Daily News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
