| Hackers Prevail, 5-3, Over Wichita | The Silicon Valley Hackers defeated the Wichita Wolverines, 5-3, in Cory Lidle League action at San Jose Municipal Stadium, with Silicon Valley center fielder Issei Maruyama named player of the game. Eddy Gil picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 3-4. The Hackers now have a record of 25-28.
