| Rams Solve Cornhuskers, 5-2 | Frisco Rams starter Keith More was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 5-2. Jeff Van Wormer earned the save, his 10th. The Rams now have a mark of 25-28.
In the top of the eighth, Juichi Takahashi stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Cornhuskers were trailing 5-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Luis Navarro made a terrific pitch and Takahashi struck out. Gone was the dream of a DeKalb comeback.
