| Storm Troopers Fall Short, 1-0, at Youngstown | The Youngstown Tune-Ups got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jonathan Salas, who stifled the San Antonio offense en route to a 1-0 Tune-Ups win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Dave Dyke earned the save, his 13th. The Tune-Ups sit in 4th place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League with a record of 23-27.
The Tune-Ups got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ivan Mena. For the game, Mena went 1-3. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 5th hit of the season gave Youngstown a 1-0 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Salas said after the game.
