Carson City Mustang starter Nick Davidson turned in an exceptional performance against the Riverside Red Bulls at Red Bull Stadium, resulting in a Carson City win, 4-2. The winning pitcher was Davidson, now 5-3. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. Picking up the save was Hyun-sik Park, his 11th.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from catcher Morgan Kowalkowski. For the game, Kowalkowski went 1 for 4. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 38th hit of the season gave Carson City a 2-1 lead.
