| Marauders Win at Cape Verde, 8-4 | The Bradenton Marauders defeated the Cape Verde Vesuvius, 8-4, in Roy Halladay League action at Conduit Caverns, with Bradenton pitcher Dean Archer named player of the game. The winning pitcher was Archer, now 3-5. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. Bradenton currently is in last place in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division at 22-28.
The Marauders got a big at-bat from first baseman John Koller. For the game, Koller went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3.
