| Big Day by Miyahira Ignites Black Bears Win | Ashton Gate was the site for Roy Halladay League action featuring the Bristol Robins and Fraser Valley Black Bears.
The Fraser Valley Black Bears beat the Bristol Robins, 13-4, at Ashton Gate. Fraser Valley first baseman Tooru Miyahira earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Dustin Arcuri, credited with the win, is now 5-2. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 6.2 innings.
Miyahira had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Black Bears went on to win.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Fraser Valley manager Tom Klein.
The Black Bears bumped their record to 29-20 with this latest triumph.
