| Spartans Prevail, 4-2, Over Pacifica | Sandy Springs beat Pacifica on the strength of starter Gabriel Pérez's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Pérez got the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. Pérez allowed no earned runs. Chris Roberts closed the game out for Sandy Springs, earning his 2nd save.
The Spartans got a big at-bat from first baseman Justin Bradley. For the game, Bradley was 1 for 3 with a walk. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave Sandy Springs a 3-2 lead.
"I liked his command," said Sandy Springs manager José Parra. "Gabriel was throwing strikes."
