| Luzuriaga Powers Snaps to 8-6 Win | Cincinnati second baseman Jorge Luzuriaga was a significant contributor in his team's 8-6 triumph over the Youngstown Tune-Ups. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for Cincinnati. Manny Maldonado closed the game out for Cincinnati, earning his 3rd save. The Snaps bumped their record to 24-21 with this latest triumph.
Had Tim Rennie not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Rennie hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Snaps.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cincinnati manager Rob Penn.
