Blazers Come Up Short at Cabo San Lucas

The Cabo San Lucas Toreros got a magnificent effort from pitcher Steve Vincent, who kept Bloomington hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Toreros win at Field de Los Layendas. Mike Foust recorded his 13th save for Cabo San Lucas. The Toreros bumped their record to 21-16 with this latest triumph.

Terry Simmon went 1 for 2 with 2 walks against the Blazers. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a run-scoring single, putting Cabo San Lucas in front, 1-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Bloomington manager Román Cruz.
