Marauders Lose, 4-1, at Howling Park

Wichita Wolverines starter Tsugunao Carroll turned in a top-notch performance against the Bradenton Marauders at Howling Park. The result was a win for the Wolverines, 4-1. Carroll, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 2 walks. The Wolverines bumped their record to 24-21 with this latest triumph.

Ossie Zurita aided the Wichita cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
