| Marauders Solve Wolverines, 5-4 | The Wichita Wolverines got a superb performance from pitcher Brodie Juhl. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Bradenton. The Marauders won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Juhl was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball. Mario Michaca finished to wrap up his 6th save. With the win, the Marauders have a record of 19-25.
Had Jeff Fosbrink not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Fosbrink hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Marauders.
Fosbrink told a Bradenton Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
