| Hackers Trip Hellcats in Extras | Silicon Valley Hackers starter Josh Bradshaw turned in a top-notch performance against the Jacksonville Hellcats at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The result was a win for the Hackers, 2-1. Enrique Santiago picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Mario Cruz was tagged with the loss. The Hackers sit in third place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League with a record of 23-22.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from second baseman Nelson Guerra. For the game, Guerra went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Silicon Valley a 2-1 lead.
Bradshaw told a Silicon Valley Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
