Bailey Bangs Out 5 Base Hits

Biloxi left fielder Ray Bailey had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Pacifica Shamrocks at McCormick Field as the Bullets picked up a 13-12 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Biloxi skipper Jorge Matos told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Bailey has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Ray Bailey flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Bailey's current batting average stands at .305 and he has chalked up no home runs and 13 RBIs.
