Rams Come Back Late to Clip Hellcats

Frisco pitcher Perry Maniscalco did his part in helping his team beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Rams bumped their record to 23-21 with this latest triumph.

Had Benny Lipke not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Lipke hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Rams.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Maniscalco.
