Shamrocks Turn Back Bristol, 2-0

Right-hander Gavin Taylor mesmerized the Bristol Robins while leading the Pacifica Shamrocks to a 2-0 victory. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 23-17 with this latest triumph.

The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from right fielder Lorenzo Romero. For the game, Romero went 1 for 3 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 39th hit of the season gave Pacifica a 2-0 lead.

Taylor told the Pacifica Daily News: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
