| Rennie Excels in Cincinnati Win | The Cincinnati Snaps knocked off the Madison Beehive, 9-4, at The Studio. Tim Rennie, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Cincinnati won. The left fielder was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Jorge Soto, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 2-1. Cincinnati, at 20-17, sits in first place in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division.
Rennie came through with some timely hitting for Cincinnati. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the fourth and two down, Rennie hit a 2-2 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season made it 7-4, Cincinnati.
"It feels good to get this one," Rennie told the Cincinnati Daily.
