| Ducks Beat Bulldogs in 10 | The Long Island Ducks got a stellar effort from pitcher Jerry Hughes, helping Long Island score a 3-2 win over the visiting Spokane Bulldogs. Long Island is now 14-24, while Spokane is 21-17.
Long Island won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Ramon Romandia on the mound for Spokane, catcher Vincent Robinson hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Ducks fans to their feet.
"I like our resilience," said Robinson.
