| Beehive Topple Snaps with Late Rally | Madison got a strong outing from Travis Gibson as the Beehive defeated the Cincinnati Snaps, 3-1, at The Studio. Craig Mehlin got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Waldo Perron closed the game out for Madison, earning his 9th save.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when catcher Collin Gardiner drew a walk. The Beehive went on to win.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Cincinnati manager Rob Penn.
Madison is in 5th place in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 16-20.
