The player of the game was Rock River pitcher and Quebec City, Canada native Will Otis. Marlin Bryan got credit for the save for Rock River. It was his 9th of the year. The Rats have an impressive 25-14 record.
Early in the game, catcher Nick Dye had a 2-run double for Rock River. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Rats on top, 2-0.
