Rams Stymie Boise, Take 3-0 Win

Jan Woodbury pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Boise Hawks, despite Woodbury's fine outing, dropped a 3-0 decision to the Frisco Rams at Outlander Park. Jorge Jaranillo got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Bryan Sobolik closed the game out for Frisco, earning his 3rd save.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Justin Jacks stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put Frisco in front, 2-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Jacks.

The Rams bumped their record to 22-19 with this latest triumph.
