| Hawks Turn Back Jacksonville, 5-3 | The Jacksonville Hellcats got a superb performance from catcher Akitoshi Tomita. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Boise. The Hawks won the game, 5-3. In spite of the loss, Tomita was named the player of the game. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Ray Toye finished the game for Boise and earned his 7th save. Even with the win, the Hawks have a dismal 10-26 record.
Mark Kandah, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2036 draft, aided the Boise cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Kandah said.
