| Moran Shines in Shamrocks Win | Pacifica and Cape Verde duked it out at Conduit Caverns and the Shamrocks came out victorious.
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Nate Moran, the Pacifica Shamrocks defeated the Cape Verde Vesuvius, 6-3. Moran went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Shamrocks. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 20-16 with this latest triumph.
Pacifica grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Moran, who is tied for 3rd in the CLL with a .344 batting average, hit a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Shamrocks out in front, 5-3.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Moran.
