| Hellcats Win at Boise, 5-2 | The 2038 season is getting ugly for Boise.
The Jacksonville Hellcats picked up a win at Basque Block Field, knocking off the Boise Hawks, 5-2. On the mound for Jacksonville was right-hander Eric Sauer, who played a pivotal role in the win. Sauer picked up the win for Jacksonville, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Mario Cruz got the save, the 10th for him this season.
The Hellcats got a big at-bat from catcher Akitoshi Tomita. For the game, Tomita was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Jacksonville a 1-0 lead.
