Wolverines Stymie San Antonio, Take 4-1 Win

The Wichita Wolverines got a strong performance from pitcher Victor Benavirez, who stymied the San Antonio offense en route to a 4-1 win at Howling Park. Joel Stapleton got the save, the 9th for him this season. With the win, the Wolverines have a record of 16-18.

Wichita shortstop Danny Salazar contributed to the cause with a double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Salazar went 2-3 with a double, while scoring 2 times.
