| Ducks Lose, 9-1, at The Coliseum | The Sandy Springs Spartans got a stellar effort from pitcher Gabriel Pérez, helping Sandy Springs score a 9-1 win over the visiting Long Island Ducks. The Ducks fall to 11-20 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
The Spartans got a big at-bat from catcher Johnny Medina. For the game, Medina was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Sandy Springs a 3-1 lead.
