| Victory Pushes Snaps Record to 16-14 | The Cincinnati Snaps scored a 4-3 win versus the Bradenton Marauders at The Field at Bradenton. Cincinnati pitcher Jose Reyes nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Reyes, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 3 earned runs. Sean Bonin earned the save, his 5th.
Cincinnati relied on the hitting of Greg Bova to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Snaps on top, 4-0. For the game, Bova had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Losing is easy," said Bova. "Winning is hard."
The Marauders fall to 15-18 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
