Sugimoto Helps Riverside Cruise to 11-1 Win

Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Kiyotaka Sugimoto, the Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Frisco Rams, 11-1. Sugimoto was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Red Bulls. The Red Bulls bumped their record to 17-16 with this latest triumph.

Sugimoto had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Red Bulls went on to win.

"I thought we played a nice game," Sugimoto told the Riverside Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
