| Rats Get Win, Extend Streak to 4 | The Rock River Rats defeated the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 8-5, at The Corn Crib today. Leading the charge for Rock River was left fielder George Nash. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place Rats have won 4 straight games.
It could have been a different outcome for Rock River, had it not been for Victor Silva, the 26-year old center fielder . Silva contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Rock River up, 3-0.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Nash.
