| Stogies Win at Tonga, 9-7 | Havana designated hitter Victor Huaracha made his presence felt in the 9-7 Stogies triumph over the Tonga G.o.D.. Huaracha went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Havana reliever Peter Miner picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Paul Barrett absorbed the loss. The Stogies bumped their record to 19-16 with this latest triumph.
Taylor Bastien, who is a two-time All-Star, aided the Havana cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
