Mustang Lose to Storm Troopers in Walk Off

The San Antonio Storm Troopers overcame a good performance by Carson City left fielder David Mena to knock off Carson City, 6-5, at The Clone Army. Mena hit 2 home runs. The win takes San Antonio to 16-15.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Antonio left fielder Edwin Ruiz, facing Bob MacKay, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Storm Troopers the 6-5 win.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Ruiz told the San Antonio Chronicle. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
