| Robins Win at Sandy Springs, 8-5 | Bristol starter Mike Boyer had a strong outing against the Sandy Springs Spartans at The Coliseum. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-5 win. Arturo Mercado got credit for the save for Bristol. It was his 9th of the year. The Spartans fall to 11-17 and continue their uneven start to the 2038 season.
Cristóbal Rodríguez, who is tied for 7th in the CLL in RBI with 21, aided the Bristol cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Boyer said.
