| Red Bulls Lose, 3-1, at The Corn Crib | The DeKalb Cornhuskers topped the Riverside Red Bulls by the score of 3-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Yuichiro Sato. Sato went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Cornhuskers on the day. George Fawns picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Mike Tallman was tagged with the loss. The Red Bulls drop to 15-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
Sato had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Cornhuskers went on to win.
