| Hellcats Turn Back Wichita, 3-1 | The Jacksonville Hellcats racked up a win at Howling Park, bumping off the Wichita Wolverines, 3-1. Mike Marquez, who started for Jacksonville, pitched effectively for his team. In 7.2 innings, Marquez surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was Mario Cruz, his 7th.
