The Rams had to overcome a fine performance from Rock River pitcher Alberto Cayetano to grab a 3-0 win at The Rat Hole. Cayetano allowed no earned runs over 5 innings. Frisco, now 19-11, has played well in the early going.

The Rams got a big at-bat from center fielder Matt Davidson. For the game, Davidson went 1-4. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 31st hit of the season gave Frisco a 1-0 lead.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Davidson.
