| Victory Over Hackers Takes Carson City to 19-11 | Fans who gathered at Cowboys Stadium saw a good contest between the Carson City Mustang and Silicon Valley Hackers.
The Carson City Mustang picked up a win at Cowboys Stadium, knocking off the Silicon Valley Hackers, 3-1. Starting pitcher Dave O'Donohue was an essential part of his team's success. In 8 innings, O'Donohue surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Hyun-sik Park finished to wrap up his 8th save.
The Mustang got a big at-bat from right fielder Emory Drewry. For the game, Drewry went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Carson City a 2-1 lead.
"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Drewry told the Carson City Chronicle. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
At 19-11, the Mustang have played well so far.
