| Marauders Rally For Late Win Over Bullets | It was a fun time at The Field at Bradenton, where the Biloxi Bullets and Bradenton Marauders tangled.
The Bradenton Marauders got a strong performance from pitcher Dean Archer, who stymied the Biloxi offense en route to a 5-1 win at The Field at Bradenton. Bradenton reliever Francisco Martínez was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Ramón García.
Bradenton took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With no one out, right fielder Luis Mesa hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We take it day by day here," said Archer, "and today was a good one for us."
Bradenton has a record of 14-16.
