| Beehive Come Back Late to Clip Tune-Ups | The Madison Beehive defeated the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 4-3. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Jonathan Franco, who was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Kris Richardson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Dave Dyke took the loss. The Tune-Ups fall to 13-16 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Madison designated hitter Dylan Cooper, facing Dave Dyke, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Beehive the 4-3 win.
"This place was rockin'," said Cooper.
