The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 11-1, in Cory Lidle League action at The Field at Bradenton, with Biloxi pitcher José Toro named player of the game. The winning pitcher was Toro, now 3-1. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 8.
The Bullets got a big at-bat from catcher Dave Alejo. For the game, Alejo was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season gave Biloxi a 4-1 lead.
