| Tune-Ups Score Late to Upend Beehive, 2-0 | The Youngstown Tune-Ups got a good effort from starter Paul Beloin in defeating the Madison Beehive at The Hive. The final score was 2-0. The winning pitcher was Beloin, now 4-1. He tossed 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 5. The Beehive fall to 9-17 and continue their lackluster start in 2038.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Jake Parker, who is tied for 2nd in the CLL in triples with 2, hit a triple. The Tune-Ups went on to win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Beloin said after the game.
