Victory Pushes Red Bulls Record to 15-13

The Riverside Red Bulls defeated the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 5-4, in Cory Lidle League action at The Corn Crib, with Riverside pitcher Javier Figueroa named player of the game. The Cornhuskers fall to 13-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.

It could have been a different outcome for Riverside, had it not been for Yugo Muramoto, the 25-year old shortstop . Muramoto contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Riverside up, 3-2.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Riverside manager Roger Reynolds. "It's usually not just one thing."
