| Black Bears Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Youngstown | The Fraser Valley Black Bears downed the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 6-2, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The Black Bears were led by Jorge Sandoval, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Derrek Bathauer earned the win for Fraser Valley. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 4-0. Ricardo Betancourt earned the save, his 2nd.
T.J. McClain aided the Fraser Valley cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-2 with 2 walks.
