| Storm Troopers Lose, 4-1, at The Rat Hole | Benefiting from Bobby Wilson's productive game, the Rock River Rats downed the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 4-1. Wilson went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Rats. Marlin Bryan recorded his 6th save for Rock River. The Rats, now 17-7, have played some good baseball in the early going.
The Rats got a big at-bat from catcher Nick Dye. For the game, Dye went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 31st hit of the season gave Rock River a 1-0 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Wilson said.
