| Hawks Win at Biloxi, 6-0 | The Boise Hawks topped the Biloxi Bullets, 6-0, in Cory Lidle League action at The Sand Dune. The player of the game was Boise pitcher and Clinton, Utah native Tommy Montgomery. The Hawks, with just their 6th win so far in 2038, have yet to catch fire.
The Hawks got a big at-bat from third baseman Cletus Roop. For the game, Roop was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Boise a 2-0 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Montgomery told the Boise Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
