Ducks Trip Marauders in Extras

The Long Island Ducks defeated the Bradenton Marauders, 10-7, in Roy Halladay League action at Long Island Stadium, with Long Island first baseman Dale Colvin named player of the game. Long Island reliever Jim Reusch picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Mario Michaca took the loss. Long Island, now 7-12, is off to a slow start.

Colvin had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Mario Michaca, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Ducks a 10-7 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Colvin.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Colvin said after the game.
