| Red Bulls Lose to Beetlecats in Walk Off | The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats defeated the Riverside Red Bulls, 5-4, in Cory Lidle League action at Bloomfield Road, with Buzzard's Bay center fielder Mike Marti named player of the game. Buzzard's Bay reliever Justin Keling picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ramon Trinidad took the loss. With their winning streak at 4, the Beetlecats have raced to a strong start this season.
Marti had a game-changing single in the bottom of the ninth. On a 3-1 slider from Ramon Trinidad, he banged a run-scoring single to right, giving the Beetlecats a 5-4 lead. It was the 18th hit of the year for Marti.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Marti said after the game.
