| Monarchs Lose to Hellcats in Walk Off | The Jacksonville Hellcats topped the Marysville Monarchs, 4-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Hellcats Park. The player of the game was Jacksonville pitcher and Newburyport, Massachusetts native Johnny Rascoe. Jacksonville reliever Mario Cruz was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Orlando Rivas took the loss for Marysville. The Hellcats, with just their 7th win so far in 2038, have yet to catch fire.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Jacksonville left fielder Jeff Dotson, facing Orlando Rivas, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Hellcats the 4-3 win.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Rascoe.
