| Sasquatch Walk It Off for 24th Win of Season | The Seattle Sasquatch picked up a win at Sick's Stadium, knocking off the Rubber City Rhinos, 5-4. On the mound for Seattle was right-hander Kanichi Kaneshiro, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Chad Flam in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Carlos Alonzo took the loss. The last-place Rhinos have lost 4 straight games.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from shortstop Jesus Villanueva. For the game, Villanueva went 1 for 5 with a hit by pitch. In the bottom of the 14th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 37th hit of the season gave Seattle a 5-4 lead.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Kaneshiro.
