Marauders, Takahashi Pin Bad Loss on Ducks

Benefiting from Eichiro Takahashi's productive game, the Bradenton Marauders downed the Long Island Ducks, 13-2. Takahashi was 2-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Marauders. Tom Cluff recorded his 1st save for Bradenton. The Ducks fall to 6-11 and continue their lackluster start to the 2038 season.

Takahashi contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Bradenton in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Takahashi took a curveball from Francisco Perez and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Marauders to leap in front, 3-1.

Takahashi told a Bradenton Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
