Schulte, Bullets Hammer Hawks

The Biloxi Bullets topped the Boise Hawks, 10-2, with shortstop D.J. Schulte playing a big role. Schulte went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Bullets in the win. The win was credited to Josh Denney in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jose Perez took the loss. The Hawks, now 5-14, continue their poor start.

Yen-nien Tong helped out the Biloxi cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.
